Pressed steel bearing units

This bearing unit is a combination of a radial ball bearing, seal, and a housing of pressed steel, which comes in various shapes. Made of precision gas cut rolled steel, NTN steel housings have the same characteristics of cast-iron housings but offer superior strength and combine lightness and maximum mechanical resistance. As a matter of fact, the rolled steel microstructure is more consistent than cast iron or cast steel, reducing the risk of housing fracture under severe conditions. The housing material is classified as SS400 of JIS G3101.
